This is a peer position, meaning that eligible candidates should be current or former consumers of mental health services, who are able to provide support to peers according to the King County Standards for Peer Support Services.

Peer Specialist – Housing Voucher and Treatment Program
Two positions, both part time (20 hours per week), with partial benefits (Seattle). Work with adult clients who have a mental illness and who are homeless. Provides case management services to adults who require additional support to maintain success at home, in school, and in social activities. Related AA degree or related experience required. Good communication skills important. WDL with excellent driving record necessary.
Salary = DOQ.

Resident Community Specialist – Supported Housing/Kasota
Full time (Tuesday – Saturday, 9pm – 5am) with full benefits (Kasota Apartments/Seattle). Works with adult clients who have a chronic mental illness and chemical dependency. Responsibilities may include office duties, common areas cleaning, grounds upkeep, light maintenance, sharing in staff coverage of the building. Will reside on-site (in a private unit) and provide services during scheduled work hours. HS diploma or GED and ability to become certified peer specialist required, related experience and good communication skills important. WDL with excellent driving record necessary.
